The first day of the two-day event started with the General Assembly, which was opened by the project coordinator, Wim Goettsch (University of Utrecht, The Netherlands), followed by a presentation from our team member Nathalie Bofarull on the final tasks and deliverables due as the project comes to the close. This was followed by a series of presentations facilitated by Syreon Research Institute on the upcoming HTx presentations at HTA conferences, as well as presentations on the key lessons learned and the future of the project.
The afternoon saw the opening of the final Expert Forum, where on the first day discussions included exploring the main methodological and policy findings of the HTx project, as well as how innovators, experts and policymakers could utilise project results to fuel future research and innovation in the field of Health Technology Assessment. The second day of the forum focused on the generalisability and transferability of HTx Project results, as well as a reflection on how research could have been conducted in a better way and how these reflections could be implemented in future HTA research.
