Creating medically-driven integrative bioinformatics applications focused on oncology, CNS disorders and their comorbidities

The MedBioinformatics project (full title: Creating medically-driven integrative bioinformatics applications focused on oncology, CNS disorders and their comorbidities) aims to develop integrative bioinformatics tools and software applications useful and autonomously usable that enable to analyze the huge amount of data and knowledge generated in biomedical research and healthcare in order to facilitate translational research and medicine precision.

The project is funded with approximately 3.5 million Euro granted by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme 2014‐2020. It will last three years and it is coordinated by Hospital del Mar Medical Research Institute (IMIM) and carried out by 9 leading European research institutions and SMEs.
